A Common Question from Writers: What is Highlights Foundation? It is no secret that I became a published writer through a unique path. Often when people hear about Highlights Foundation's magnificent workshops, the reply is "I didn't know Highlights offers writing workshops!" It's more like a writer's smorgasboard. Highlights Foundation is a non-profit organization created to encourage, nurture, and grow talent in writers and illustrators for children. They want you to succeed to bring more good works into the lives of children. Both experiences, Chautauqua and Boyds Mills, offer the writer a unique experience unlike anything out there with small group and one to one mentoring with publishing proffessionals.
