Welcome to my website! New for 2008 "PUNK WIG" was newly released in March with Boyds Mills Press. Inspired by a friend's journey with cancer, this is a humorus story with serious undertones that parents, grandparents, teachers, doctors, anyone can use to teach young children about cancer and chemotheropy. Special thanks to those who have let me know this book has been sent to cancer camps, is being shared with pediatric patients, and in personal homes. It's sweet to know Punk Wig is helping to foster understanding and communication. Fun News for AggieAggie is a finalist for the Eloise Jarvis McGraw award. Who was Eloise Jarvis McGraw? Eloise was a children's writer who was awarded the Newberry Medal three times for her novels. She had a great love of history and brought history to life for children as well. She also contributed to the Oz series started by L. Frank Baum. Eloise Jarvis McGraw was born December 9, 1915. She lived in Portland until she died on November 30, 2000. It was a great honor to be nominated under Mrs. McGraw's name.
